Monkey Island 2 on the iPhone and Civ 4: BTS on the Mac. Steam is unfortunately really showing up how crap the 2400 video card in my iMac is, and there's no way I'm gaming on the 8800GT in the MBP as I need the laptop for work.

Hence I'm now a regular poster in the iMac threads back over there. As soon as the 21" goes Sandy Bridge my wallet is out my pocket

I've been persuaded to resume playing World of Warcraft!
I was surprised to find all my old characters were still around 16 months after my account had expired!

Did they get all obese and stuff whilst you were gone? If not, that would be a cool addition to the game

Still stuck on The Largo Embargo on Monkey Island 2. I know what I have to do, but haven't yet worked out how to do it. Staying away from any walkthroughs as I want to complete the game myself, as I would have done playing it years ago.

I went back to Football Manager 2010 last night, picking up a save that had to be put to one side a couple of months ago when other stuff cropped up. Unfortunately, having built up a bright young team all that time ago I can't remember who half my players are or the roles I had earmarked for them when I paid inflated sums for them. Gah.

Oh yes, I have comprehensive scribbles. The problem is, they cover things like set piece routines and squad selections, not my long-term plans for the 17-year old Swedish kid I've loaned out to Preston.

I'm going on a track-evening at Silverstone (full traditional GP circuit ) in about a month. So I've been putting in a few practice laps on Forza 3 to learn the track before I go. Managed to get my simulated Elise round in 2:10.94 last night. Do not think I will take those sort of risks in the real car

So, when I was home last weekend, I found my old Game Boy Color and a cache of games. So I am definitely playing Pokemon Blue again.

All this Pokemon talk makes me want to pick up a GameBoy and play the original Pokemon red version.
I made a sound akin to the sound one might make if one had a chipmunk trapped in one's throat and it were screaming for help. In a good way. - Jess

Such a fun game, I remember playing Red on my original GameBoy system. My brother had Blue. I remember the night when the Missing No and Game Shark hacks/glitches caused his game to screw up. Luckily it messed up in the Pokemon Center so he copied his pokemon via link cable to my game, then after reseting I sent his pokemon back. I also remember using those little Worm Lights that would plug into the GameBoy Color Link cable slight and give you a light. These were essential in long car rides.

That reminds me, I should bring my Pokemon HeartGold game on the plane ride on Friday! haha

Woo-hoo!! Got off the Largo Embargo after noticing that the tiny grey/silver thing on the town sign was really a SPADE!!! Just what I needed to dig up the body and complete the voodoo doll!! After that the rest of it went pretty much how I'd worked out. Not surprising considering how long I wandered round the various locations trying to work out how to dig the grave up
